The topic returns to the media
The topic of the exchange of real estate between Adam Glapiński and the Era 200 company has reappeared in the media. Robert Szustkowski was allegedly involved in the transaction. In 2021, Gazeta Wyborcza was the first to describe the circumstances of Glapiński’s exchange of houses as part of the transaction with Era 200 in 2009. From the information provided by Gazeta, it could be concluded that the properties were not of similar value, which could mean that Glapiński could benefit, the subtext of which was to attempt to build Russian influence in Poland through Szustkowski.
Robert Szustkowski’s position
Robert Szustkowski, a businessman and philanthropist living in Switzerland, strongly denies these accusations. Both court documents and land registers confirm that Szustkowski sold the house to Era 200 in 2006, three years before the property swap with Glapiński. Szustkowski believes that he is the victim of slander and appeals to the European Union to implement new rules for the protection of personal image in the media.
An appeal for honesty in the media
Szustkowski emphasizes that the accusations of transferring the “palace” to Glapiński are groundless and harmful to his reputation. He calls for the fight for honesty and reliability in the media and for the introduction of clear standards for the protection of personal image in the EU. The aim of the initiative he initiated is primarily to establish clear standards and responsibility for false or manipulated information in the media, thus recognizing the protection of the rights and dignity of the individual as a priority. According to Szustkowski, the slander is an attempt to discredit him by dishonest journalists who want to destroy his image.
